The IETF BGP yang model originated from the OpenConfig model where they
chose this as the general purpose terminology.

Coming from Juniper-land where this is "preference", it's still good enough
and represents an appropriate abstraction.  (Although this thread is making
me wonder if we really do agree on this...)
