If you want to argue that some user-agents should be broken and some 
e-mail adress made invalid, it's your job to find out which 
user-agents/addresses are affected.

I have a suggestion for the latter one: Every email address in use may 
be presumed to receive spam, so just buy a MILLIONS CD and see what's 
on it.
