I may be misreading this, but the erratum appears to reverse nominee and 
candidate.  Nominees are the people being considered. We no longer have 
secret nominees (nor false nominees, thanks.) candidates are the people 
sent for consideration by the confirming body for consideration.  Those 
are confidential until approved. Unless I am reading it backwards, this 
erratum should be rejected and the text retained as is.
