   Pronunciation Alphabet tags can be used in the alphabet attribute of
   the phoneme element in the Speech Synthesis Markup Language
   [W3C.CR-speech-synthesis11-20090827].  At some point in the future
   they may also be usable within the alphabet attribute of the phoneme
   and lexicon elements in the Pronunciation Lexicon Specification
   [W3C.REC-pronunciation-lexicon-20081014].
