Dear WG,
This email concludes the adoption call for the ID <draft-song-mpls-extension-header>.
The poll has demonstrated substantial objections from the WG around the IPR(s) filed against this document.
As per rfc3979 (section 8), the working group is free to consider the IPRs (and their terms) in the evaluation of solution proposals.

The results also have shown that there has been somewhat minimal support for the solution proposed in this document.
Hence, based on these adoption poll results, the chairs have concluded that <draft-song-mpls-extension-header> is not to be adopted at this time.
The WG and Open DT are encouraged to continue to look for alternative solutions for the MNA PSD ancillary data encoding.

Dear WG,

This email starts a two-week poll on adopting draft-song-mpls-extension-header as a MPLS working group document.

Please send your comments (support/not support) to the MPLS working group mailing list (mpls@ietf.org). Please give a technical motivation for your support/not support, especially if you think that the document should not be adopted as a working group document.

All the authors/contributors have stated on the MPLS WG mailing list that they are unaware of any undisclosed IPRs that relates to this document.

Since we have had some concerns about IPR, we like to remind you that the working group does not discuss the validity and applicability of an IPR, however it is assumed that all respondents to the wgap have looked at the IPR disclosures and, if they approve of the adoption, are comfortable with the IPRs as disclosed.

The working group adoption poll ends February 24, 2023.
