Thank you for your insights. However, I'd like to highlight a couple of
statements from key figures in the community

- Orie Steele from the W3C Verifiable Credentials group mentioned, "A
community of folks working on multiformats... Filecoin, IPFS community...
multibase emerges from those communities."
- Juan Bennet, at a W3C workshop, stated, "Though not a blockchain itself,
IPFS is highly relevant to Blockchains. It is used by blockchains and
blockchain applications, and its subprotocols (libp2p, multihash, IPLD) can
be extremely useful for blockchain standardization. I am also the inventor
of the Filecoin protocol, which is a blockchain storage currency."

While I understand and respect the distinctions you're emphasizing, it's
evident from the aforementioned statements that there's a recognized
connection and relevance between IPFS, Filecoin, and blockchain-related
efforts. I believe this context is essential in our discussions, and it
would be beneficial for us to acknowledge these ties while also
understanding the unique characteristics of each project.
I trust this sheds light on the context I'm referencing. To ensure
productive discussions, I'd suggest we remain focused on the primary topics
and avoid reiterating points. Appreciate your understanding.
