Dear colleagues,

Olafur (the shepherd for this document) is travelling, so in his stead
and with my chair hat on, I want to underline what Paul said there.
There was a proposal on the list; there was zero follow-up, and nobody
expressed support for adding it. The document editor didn't agree it
was a good idea. Therefore, the change doesn't go into the document.
That's the end of the story: we don't need to debate whether there is
IPR here, make charges about FUD, or anything else. There is no
consensus, rough or otherwise, in favour of the change, and so it's
not a candidate to be the product of the WG.

Best regards,

Andrew
