For the record, Sequoia implements all three compression algorithms
that 4880 specifies. Also, I don't think Justus suggested that we
remove compression from 4880bis, because we don't want to implement it
in Sequoia, but due to a number of security-centric reasons. I
welcome constructive criticisms.

Calling Justus's suggestion "unproductive" is an insult. If it is so
obviously wrong, then it should be easy to provide a short, convincing
response that ends the discussion. Unless you think that Justus is a
troll. In that case, please don't feed the trolls.

I've tried to act in good faith, and appeal solely to technical
arguments. I hope that we can all work towards this, at least on this
list.

Thanks,

Neal
