The topic of BIMI potentially enabling another form of tracking or "web bug" has come up in discussions.  

Speaking for myself, my general sense is that no one substantively involved sees creating yet another tracking capability as a benefit, and that we should avoid doing so if possible. 

This is not the same as saying we've provably designed a system that denies tracking.  That would be better.  

Overall, I think we need to address this issue head on, with a careful analysis.
