1) VoA now calls this "Learning English", NOT "Special English".

2) VoA has three levels of "simplicity". See
http://learningenglish.voanews.com/.

3) Some other simple language news sites also use several levels. E.g.
http://www.practicaespanol.com/noticias-en-practica-espanol, which appears
to be using the CEFR levels for labelling each article's level.
