Hi, BTW does somebody know how to submit a new draft with name YYYY as
continuation of a previous draft with name XXXX?

See for example draft-ietf-hybi-thewebsocketprotocol which previously
was named draft-hixie-thewebsocketprotocol, and the current draft
shows also a reference to the old name ("Versions" field on top of the
draft):
