We have successfully deployed Peer Locking 
(https://archive.nanog.org/sites/default/files/Snijders_Everyday_Practical_Bgp.pdf) 
for several years and have chosen to do this in an AFI independent fashion 
with same AS-path regexp used for both IPv4 and IPv6.

I agree that it's a logical choice to not have AFI specifics here since 
most will have same information for both AFIs which will cause 
duplication of information if required to be AFI specific.
