Now WIBNI someone evaluated these against a putative set of IETF objectives, and made some personal recommendation what to use?

(I’m not volunteering either of us for that, but maybe some of the WGs that use GitHub extensively can find someone.  And of course somebody else can then look at similar work for the other forges they like, the most relevant of which seem to be gitlab and codeberg at the moment.)
