I just looked and found I had these data available:
We now have 2183 active I-Ds.
Of these, 511 (23.4 %) were submitted in ~ the last 5 days.
Of these 111 were -00 (108 new/renamed drafts and 3 new WG drafts).

I wonder if there is a place that makes statistics like this available continuously.
