When arriving by train Eurostar I noticed this sign saying 'If you are 
found in possession of a weapon (knife, tear gas, pepper spray, etc) 
[...] risk of penalty of imprisonment or a fine.' (see photo).

In the past I talked to people who carry these for own safety, and when 
taking even the shortest flight or train are surprised.  It happens.

Now they put these signs so better prepared.
