First, many folks have made a good case that this can happen anywhere. In my informal sampling, it seemed many more folks had stomach bugs than usual so I asked the question to try to elicit others’ experiences. I’m happy to conclude that there seemed to be no wide scale food problem with the hotel or the restaurants in the area.

Second, I did not say but should have, that I enjoyed every meal. Korean food is a personal favorite and I had the chance to try a number of new dishes.

Finally, please don’t take my inquiry as license to start a complain-fest about the meeting or the location.
