Hi,

+1 on continuing to allow note-taking to be filled by volunteers on a session-by-session basis.

I beg to differ on selection of authors ' from among the pool of people who are known to them'. My experience as author and as WG chair is different. Anybody can submit individual submissions and become authors. WG I-Ds are selected - typically by WG consensus - from the existing pool of individual I-Ds. So becoming an author is rarely if at all a nomination, but the result of active contributions.

Regards,

Dan
