Maybe that's the heart of the problem. It sounds like of like what's 
needed is a portal which
knows about all of the other devices/sites around the house and gives a 
click through to them.
That very well could be my router. Or alternatively, maybe my browser 
can figure it out itself and
cons up a web page on its very own and give me a nice shiny "homenet" 
button.
