that it was done in this way.

I would suggest registering the standards of the written language, where
available, and to consider alternative(s) where not.
I am in contact with the Ladin institutions [2] and enquired which subtags
they would consider meaningful for their respective valleys -
I would forward their suggestions to you as soon as I receive them.
