thank you Doug and Johannes for your comments -
It is indeed important to clearly define what is meant here. As Johannes
mentioned, the standardised written language for Val Badia cannot be
"assigned" to a (spoken) variant, which is why "valbadia" was suggested
here as a subtag. This is in fact the name given in the most recent Ladin
Val Badia - Italiano dictionary [1]

Therefore, these variants should actually all be registered separately and
subtags should also be created for the standardised written languages. Is
that possible? There is also "Ladin Dolomitan" [2], which is a standardised
written language that covers all the valleys.
