I think such things should go into a bugtracker/ticket system, with the
authors and WG notified.   I'd move all errata into such a system.

I think our current rfc-editor errata interface is too bespoke and simple.
The system I'd want is an instance of stackoverflow/serverfault/askubuntu/etc.
It just needs IESG members to be blessed with a really high reputation during
their tenure.
