Hello all,

I support the continuation of this work within the WG.

A significant portion of this discussion revolves around determining the most effective approach for handling multiple, non-backwards compatible, yang versions.
In my opinion, versioning is needed in YANG, and we must find ways to live with multiple model versions. I'm uncertain if this is the ideal solution, but personally, I don't see any harm in allowing the WG to continue working on it and making a decision at a later stage.

A couple of points:
- The abstract of the draft requires some editing.
- As Andy pointed out, the draft needs examples.
- I like the insights shared by Jürgen and Andy regarding how hacky versioning is for YANG 1.1. It makes sense, but I guess nobody wants to start a 1.2 project..

Thanks,
Camilo C
