Here is some candidate text which would resolve my concerns:

       “For the avoidance of doubt, 
        (a) nothing in this statement changes any IETF policy,
        (b) nothing in this statement changes any IANA policy, 
        and
        (c) the IANA official web site remains the exclusive official and
        authoritative source for information maintained in IANA registries.”
