As all subscribers have a dedicated tunnel to the GW, this translates (to
me) into each subscriber has its own layer-2 link, so, no need to do DAD
as there is a unique UE per subscriber (my reading but I am not 100% sure).

If more than one UA can exist per tunnel, then indeed, Fred, you are right
