If it is not needed, I don't think we should describe in detail in the charter the future evolution steps of SDF beyond what we can see now (i.e., a IETF-ed  version of SDF 1.0  with potentially some of the existing OneDM feature requests folded in as well as changes based on requirements from "new" ecosystems). That SDF will then continue to grow expressiveness is most likely, but how that is best done (via new main spec versions or via extension/companion specs) should be left for future decision. 

That said, IMHO the charter covers the currently envisioned work (assuming removal of JSON path paragraph (except first sentence) as per issue #5) so I'd also like it have submitted to AD as soon as possible.
