We now have a mailing list, jsonpath@ietf.org, that needs a kick-off.
The idea is to come up with a proposed charter there, and propose that back to the dispatch mailing list for a final charter.  If that process is successful, there would be two independent WGs — which makes sense, as at least initially JSONPath will focus on JSON only.
