As another thought, I am currently planning on attending the next IETF in
Singapore (with the assumption of a GAIA meeting) because ICTD will be
hosted in Lahore, Pakistan immediately after as well! It's here:
http://ictd2017.itu.edu.pk/ We've submitted a proposal for a community
networking workshop there again with a regional focus, I think Kanchana and
I should figure out how to host just one event in order to not split the
community up too much. Thailand is definitely easier to get to but there's
a lot of energy in Pakistan now so we'll hash it out.

Definitely have a GAIA event at the next IETF though!
