Yes :-) The alternative is to insist on a high enough density of
subheadings so that readers can find their way around a document at least
as well as they could when page numbers imposed an upper limit on the size
of a wall of text, e.g. keep the number of paragraohs in a subsection
within the range of subitizing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subitizing
