I doubt that they are critical, but to give you some idea, Skype mixes
audio on a peer for group calls.  It avoids the need for a server or a
full mesh.  That's mixing, but it could also be switching (especially
if it were for video).  The the latter is something that CU-RTC-Web
could do, we didn't go to the extent of doing pass-through without
decrypt+decode, which is in optimization-land; I don't believe that
it's v1 critical, mainly because we've never discussed this before, so
it seems unlikely.

One of the major concerns with the current API surface is how it
precludes as many scenarios as it enables, and this is another... hang
on, sorry, wrong thread.
