The adoption call has ended.

The consensus is clearly, strongly, that the working group thinks this is an important area that the working group needs to address.

A significant fraction of the responses indicated that discussing the problem should be the initial focus of the wg, before the solution the draft proposes (if any) would be adopted.

The authors are requested to submit a working group draft with the problem discussion only, to serve as a focus for discussion. The chairs suggest that the solution should be submitted as the topic of a second draft, but not yet adopted as a working group draft until the problem discussion has progressed.

The responses to this adoption call was especially broad, from members of the wg that are not ordinarily active. That is a good thing. The chairs encourage all those who responded to stay involved in the discussion going forward.

You are asked to indicate if you think that this is work that the wg should be doing and whether this draft is an acceptable starting point. Adding whether you can/will review or not is useful.
