This is an improvement for the text, as the string appears within the printed page (as opposed to well beyond the right margin). The display appears to be the same in the text, html, and pdf. Are there any objections to using align=“right” here?

Hi Sandy,

I like the idea, but xml2rfc seems to like it less.

Below find the text representation in Firefox (OK, this mostly works, the שלום [which I selected, therefore it is green] is just outside the margins, but not much), and the HTML in Safari (which is totally broken: Safari introduces a scrollbar, but it does not seem to make a difference which way you push the scrollbar, you cannot see the שלום).

I hate to say this, but the best way to fix this with xml2rfc as is, is

OLD:
<artwork align="right">
שלום
</artwork>
NEW:
<contact fullname="שלום" asciiFullname=""/>

I’d rather have a less-broken xml2rfc, but it is what it is.

Grüße, Carsten
