I'm supportive of IDR working on BGP auto-discovery.  This document may be a
good place to do it.

Mostly I make this comment because:

draft-acee-idr-lldp-peer-discovery covers a bit of this space.  (Xiaohu is
also a co-author on that document.)  The documents overlap strongly on core
features, and could use general reconciliation across their feature sets.

Speaking with my BFD co-chair hat on, BFD is likely not a good place for
this. :-)

P.S. I suspect Yakov would be a bit amused that LDP hello reared its head in
a useful way in BGP.  Part of BGP-4 would have been avoided if it'd been
around.
