@igorlord While I think I can follow your argument, it sounds to me that the issue you are describing is shared among all use-cases of SPA. To paraphrase, it an orthogonal problem to this issue (that is trying to solve the reachability problem of the preferred address).

Assuming that is the case, I am not sure if it is a good idea to add a restriction on how clients choose the source address, specific to the "disabled_migration" field of the preferred_address transport parameter.
