I was a bit unclear in my wording, sorry. A github issue was raised at the
time, suggesting we add text to the base specs about composability. The
outcome of discussion for that specific proposal was "do nothing".

I didn't mean to suggest that nothing else had been done. I cannot talk on
behalf of anyone else in that respect.

That the base specs say nothing, does not mean that there is nothing to be
said.
