Right.  

 XEP-0176 Sections 5.5-5.9 does describe how various aspects of "Trickle ICE" are handled in XMPP/Jingle, answering a number of the questions asked in Eric's original post (see http://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/rtcweb/current/msg05121.html).  These sections are consistent with RFC 5245 with respect to STUN/TURN behavior, so that it isn't clear to me that a revision of RFC 5245 is needed.  Or am I missing something?
