Howdy,
per the email below, I formally request agenda time to discuss - and reach a conclusive vote on - whether to make SDES an MTI key exchange mechanism, or not.

I plan to present both sides of the argument with a set of pro/con slides. I used to favor making SDES mandatory, but over time I've become less sure if its benefits outweigh its drawbacks. Mostly though what I care about is making a *decision* one way or the other, and moving on.

I do *not* plan to present on DTLS-EKT at all, not even as a potential alternative. I only plan to present on whether SDES should be MTI or not for WebRTC implementations.

I think this will take an hour at least, possibly longer. I can pretend to claim it will take 15 minutes, but we all know that simply isn't true unless someone disconnects the microphones in the room. I also expect two or more other folks to want time to present on the same topic, so it'll likely take even longer in total time.

Lastly, I beg the chairs to make this agenda item topic (not necessarily my presentation, but the general topic) the *first* agenda topic for whichever meeting session it gets put in, so that we don't run out of time on other topics and delay an SDES decision once again.

-hadriel
