  *   Let's please completely omit any notion of both "exclusionary effects" and "inclusive terminology" from the charter.   Both are dubious, poorly defined, and poorly supported notions; and both are needlessly divisive.

Good grief, please no.

The point of this WG is to do exactly what you would have struck from the charter. I understand that some people are opposed to do doing this, and their reasons are varied. But please understand that some believe equally strongly that this is important to do. Making the charter something that is so unobjectionable and anodyne goes against the specificity that we encourage in every other charter.
