I object to this draft for the same reason that many others have already stated.  BGP is not a dump truck. BGP is not a configuration tool. Policy distribution should be done through Netconf/YANG, not via BGP. BGP is not a transport protocol, nor a peer-to-peer distribute database. Yes, you could do all of these things, but that doesn’t make it right.  You could also put things in DNS. That would also be wrong.

If you feel the need for a generic distributed database, please feel free to design one.  But not inside of BGP. That would be wrong.
