I am not sure what you are disagreeing about: humidity often leads to mold, dry air less so. Condensation, leaky windows, etc, etc, all are the result of "too much water" indoors (from the air generally speaking). I never said colder climates don't have mold, I did say it is almost guaranteed in high-humidity environs, UNLESS you can really control the climate in the room/building which would include dehumidifiers etc.
Such systems are rare!
