Spam is a multifaceted problem. RMX, rDNs, etc. is only addressing one part
of the problem, namely the domain name spoofing. However, we have not
clearly defined the overall architecture and how the various "spoofing"
solutions will it into it. Neither, have we seen too many other proposals
in the last few days that concentrate on other parts of the problem.
Perhaps, we should first clearly define what the overall architecture looks
like and then discuss each issue piece by piece as our working group is
tasked with:

"The ASRG will begin its work by developing a taxonomy of the problem and
the proposed solutions. This taxonomy should involve casting the spam
problem into different perspectives, such as examining the similarities
between spam and denial-of-service; spam and intrusion
detection/prevention; and spam and authentication, authorization, and
accounting. "
