Your interventions in particular smack of an attempt to suppress 
potential competition through intimidation. I'll let you deal with the 
legalities of that. My personal opinion is that this sort of discussion 
does not belong on IETF lists. I support Mary's viewpoint that our role 
is technical only. Let the application find its own place after we do 
our job.
