Technically, the SRTs don't *all* have to have been distinct, there just has to be zero overlap between the Retire Prior To set and the later ones.  So you could do as @mikkelfj has alluded to earlier, using the same SRT for a period of time, then forcing the retirement of all of those because you changed some input to your generation function, and everything you issue new has moved to a different SRT.
