Hi Jeff, 

I thought the result of this discussion at IETF 96 was to separate out the
wide community header into a separate draft? This would provide
compatibility for coexistence. Correct me if I am wrong.

Also, I believe if you go through the complete E-mail thread, you’ll see
that the positioning of the two drafts has already been discussed.

Now that all the authors have responded to the IPR poll, I’d advise the
chairs to the consider the “bring a horse to water” rule when considering
whether or not to allow the WG adoption poll to proceed.
