a=ssrc attributes are inherently unidirectional -- they talk about what you can send.  In draft-lennox-mmusic-source-selection, I defined an additional a=remote-ssrc attribute to talk about what you want to receive.

That draft defines a=ssrc:send and a=remote-ssrc:recv source attributes, which allow on/off control for individual source hold.
