Why do you think you are walking the right road?

Sometimes it’s true that a person can be a voice in the wilderness crying out a truth that others refuse to see, it’s true. But another explanation for this phenomenon is that what you are saying isn’t true, and that’s why nobody believes you. Why are you coming to the IETF with this? It’s because this is where the people are who understand the Internet. And yet we are saying “no” to your proposal, over and over again. Why do you trust us enough to come to us with your proposal, but not enough to listen to us when we tell you that it is not solving a problem that we think needs to be solved?
