Addendum: we *do* have survey data on how many sessions people attend
(thanks Jay). About 44% attend 5 or fewer, 34% 6-10, and 22% 11 or more.
There are 14 sessions per meeting so a sizeable minority are likely to have
schedule conflicts.

Of course, we don't know how many if those sessions were "I had nothing
better to do" and which would have caused distress if conflicted.
