Just so we are clear here ... what are those personal benefits ?

Does anyone think that by writing IETF drafts and progressing them anyone
here gets paid or perhaps get's some sort of recognition or maybe a medal ?

If so great for you - but based on my own experience in IETF involvement
this was/is never the case. A lot of people just work in IETF based on
their personal beliefs and do commit personal free time for such work. That
is so true especially for non vendor participants. And that is a fact for
Bruno too.

Now go fire all chairs who co-authored or contributed a draft in their
respective WG as clearly they may have influence on the process itself
either directly or indirectly (via other chair or AD).

Kind regards,
R.
