MARTA is pretty good to get you from the airport to downtown. It only costs
$2.5 per ride. I took it last week at around 10:30pm from the airport to
Midtown. I was surprised how busy it was at night. Just beware of
pickpockets.

For climbing walls in Atlanta, there is one in Georgia Tech's CRC next to
the Olympic pool. Probably you need someone to take you in as a guest if
you want to use it. You can try other ones in Buckhead. You can again take
MARTA to get to Buckhead. (At least you don't need to walk 20 miles to
Stone Mountain.)
