I think the short answer is yes, you can make ³directed² grants today
(usually company-driven today, rather than individual). While there is no
formal program for it yet, as Ray notes, it sounds like one is in process.
If anyone is interested, I am sure Ray and I can point you to the right
person (generally it is Drew Dvorshak).
