  Absolutely not! Again, I'm not sure how you got the impression I was
saying anything like that. I'm not sure what is causing those knees to
jerk so reflexively.

  In fact, I don't believe any murderous plans by terrorists have been
foiled by the the NSA's pervasive monitoring. And given that the NSA has
obviously not learned important lessons from the Kevin Mitnick affair
I'm not sure they are capable of safeguarding that data even if it was of
use in protecting us against murderous terrorists.
